Its success is enhanced by being part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which will provide the infrastructure such as roads, rail, airport and power stations  for trade and commerce to accelerate and grow.

China is the world’s largest manufacturer of goods and the world’s largest population and Pakistan’s own population is set to become the world’s third largest by 2050.

This development has already resulted in a huge increase in Gwadar of jobs and the population has grown from 80,000 to 150,000. The Gwadar Development Authority Master Plan 2017 to 2050 has planned for the population to grow to 300,000 by 2025.

The designation of Gwadar as a Special Economic Zone offering tax free status to business investors for 23 years will increase the number of much needed jobs and drive the inward migration of the required skills and labour.

The anticipated completion of the new Gwadar International Airport in 2023 will further accelerate growth

Gwadar Smart City is also designed with all the learning taken from other great port cities around the world and planned in future growth and sustainability.

Demand for land, residential and commercial will outstrip the available supply of such. This will ensure investors secure high returns on their investments compared with similar projects around the world.
